How to adjust your security level for your AT&T Yahoo! or Internet Explorer browser

Adjusting the Internet security level in the AT&T Yahoo! browser and Internet Explorer can increase or decrease your level of security while browsing the Internet. The directions below describe how to adjust your browser's security level.
To configure Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 (Windows)
1. Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
2. Click the Security tab at the top of the Internet Options window.
3. Click the appropriate Web content zone icon.
4. Verify your Web content zone selection by reviewing the Web content zone description displayed in real-time beneath the Web content zone box.
5. Use the vertical slide control bar to select one of the following security levels:
• Medium
• Medium-low
• Low
Note: A detailed description for each level will be displayed adjacent to the vertical slide control as you move the control up or down.
6. Click the Apply button.
7. Click the OK button to finalize your security level selection for that particular Web content zone.
