In April 2004 the media announced an alert from the National Infrastructure Security Coordination Centre about a newly discovered vulnerability in the technology framework of the Internet. Researchers have identified a Transmission Control Protocol (TCP)vulnerability that affects Border Gateway Patrol. Hackers exploiting this vulnerability could disrupt traffic between network routers, resulting in a denial or disruption of your Internet connection.
Under our current network configuration, AT&T Members are considered to be at low risk of being affected by this vulnerability. Please note that this vulnerability does not act as a virus. |
