| Anyone have any luck with any of the main providers in Costa Rica? As you may know, the internet & phone service in Costa Rica are state-owned, and in the past has considered making VoIP illegal. Many folks still use VoIP, however. I tried hooking up family down there with Free World Dialup (FWD) and it failed miserably - perhaps the default ports that I had configured VoIP to run on were blocked, or the fact that my family has cable modem service (128/64), but they are NATed and get a 10.x.x.x IP address at their PC. Anyone running Vonage, Packet8, VoicePulse, etc. in Costa Rica? Any tips? |
